If you want to succeed in the reverse mortgage business, consider making the investment to join National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association (NRMLA). In order to effectively advocate on behalf of the industry, NRMLA needs support from companies like yours.
Your support allows us to continue working with the U.S. Congress, bank regulators, state legislatures, the news media and senior advocates. Your membership dues help support our public education campaign undertaken by the industry called “Borrow with Confidence.”
Its intent is to make sure consumers understand the process of getting a reverse mortgage from start to finish. Members must adhere to the original Code of Ethics & Professional Responsibility and the Pledge to Reverse Mortgage Borrowers as a condition of being listed on our consumer web site, ReverseMortgage.org. Members who sign both documents are eligible to use the Borrow with Confidence logo and to purchase collateral materials, including Your Road Map To A Reverse Mortgage and Should Mom and Dad Get a Reverse Mortgage?, that can be handed out to potential clients.
It is an interesting time in the reverse mortgage industry with many fast-moving changes within the business itself and the regulatory environment in which we operate.
NRMLA is dedicated to helping you adapt and prosper amidst all these changes. We hope you decide to join us today!
Membership in NRMLA includes the following benefits:
