HUD Announces Vacancies On Housing Counseling Federal Advisory Committee

The Department of Housing and Urban Development published a Federal Register Notice (Docket No. FR-5858-N-09) announcing its intent to fill eight vacancies on the Housing Counseling Federal Advisory Committee (HCFAC).

HUD is seeking qualified candidates from the mortgage industry, real estate industry, consumer advocacy groups, and HUD-approved housing counseling agencies to serve on the HCFAC, which advises the Department on housing counseling issues and trends and recommends strategies for increasing public access to counseling programs and services. Individuals may nominate themselves, but applications must be submitted by May 9.
