Congressman Steve Stivers (R-OH), who has represented Ohio’s 15th congressional district since 2011, has become the ranking member of the Subcommittee on Housing, Community Development and Insurance in the U.S. House of Representatives.
The Housing Subcommittee has jurisdiction over FHA policy matters. Rep. Stivers is a major general in the Ohio Army National Guard, serving as the Assistant Adjutant General, and was on active duty in Iraq as a Battalion Commander until December 2005. The district he represents includes southern portions of Columbus.
