Sless has become regarded as the “go - to housing wealth expert” by various media outlets. Bringing 17 years of mortgage industry experience, he runs PRMI’s first consumer - direct retail branch dealing exclusively with reverse mortgages (located in Owings Mills, MD) He also coaches traditional loan originators working at PRMI’s 270 branches nationwide about reverse mortgages. A powerful speaker and communicator, Steven regularly presents seminars and learning workshops for senior homeowners, their families and trusted advisors. His passion, expertise and dynamic personality electrify audiences and inspire people to act. Kimberly Smith, American Advisors Group As senior vice president of wholesale lending, Kim is responsible for the production and growth of AAG’s wholesale division. Prior to joining AAG in January 2013, Kim was the ex- ecutive vice president of sales at Generation Mortgage where she oversaw all sales operations for the top - five reverse mort- gage lenders. Kim began her career in the reverse mortgage industry in 2004 working for Financial Freedom where she was quickly promoted to western regional manager of wholesale sales. She then went on to serve as senior vice president of wholesale lending for One Reverse Mortgage. Kim graduated magna cum laude from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, with a major in business admin- istration and minor in economics. Karen Tankersley, Finance of America Foundation Karen Tankersley has served as the President of Finance of America Foundation since January 2019. In addition, she is the Strategic Legal Advisor to Finance of America Compa- nies. From 2014 - 2019, she was the General Counsel of Finance of America Holdings LLC. Ms. Tankersley has spent her 38 - year career as an attorney representing financial services companies, including serving as General Counsel of Aurora Bank, SVP of Lehman Brothers, and Chief Compli- ance Officer of Nationstar Mortgage. She has a B.A. from Texas A&M University and a J.D. from the University of Texas. Kasey Watson, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Kasey Watson joined HUD in May 2006 with the National Servicing Center in Oklahoma City, OK moving to the Tulsa, OK National Servicing Center office in May 2012. In October 2015, Watson accepted a new position as the program di- rector for the Servicing Branch of the National Servicing Center. In this position, she is responsible for overseeing the servicing of HUD’s Secretary held mortgage portfolio, including Assigned HECMs, as well as the HECM Insured portfolio. Watson holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Oklahoma and a juris doctor from the University of Oklahoma College of Law.
