He is a car enthusiast, a music lover who plays guitar and piano in his spare time, and appreciates anything that is visual media. Coy has created the visual presentation you will see during this session. Peter Bell, National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association Peter Bell is the founder and CEO of the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association. He has a 45 - year background as a housing policy analyst and advocate in Washington, DC. In addition to his work on reverse mortgages and retirement finance issues, he is a nationally recognized authority on affordable housing development and finance issues and is frequently called upon to testify before Congress or advise federal agencies on housing matters. In addition to NRMLA, Bell also serves as the CEO of two other national trade associations, National Aging in Place Council and the National Housing & Rehabilitation Association. Geoffrey Bench, Longbridge Financial, LLC Geoffrey’s mortgage career began in 2004 as a forward loan originator. After a few years, Geoff transitioned to the wholesale side of the business as an Account Executive specializing in home equity loans. Following the market shift in 2008, Geoffrey moved into the reverse space as an originator with Wells Fargo. After successfully building his retail business he moved to MetLife, quickly establishing himself as one of the top retail consultants in the nation. In 2015, Geoffrey switched gears and moved over to the wholesale channel. In his role as an Account Executive at Longbridge Financial, LLC, Geoffrey leverages his extensive knowledge and experience to help his partners expand their reverse mortgage business. In his spare time, Geoff is an avid fan of live music, having seen hundreds of concerts all over the country. He also enjoys golf, skiing and spending time at the lake swimming and boating. Kim Buckley, CRMP, C2 Financial Corp. Kimberly Buckley has 30+ years of experience in the industry as a loan processor, account manager and currently a reverse mortgage specialist. She has been married to her husband for 36 years, raised three daughters and has two granddaughters and one grandson. As a hobby, she makes quilts for children in orphanages and seniors in nursing homes with Kingdom Quilters. She finds it is a terrific joy when she can give a senior citizen a better quality of life through a reverse mortgage. David Burrowes, Equity Release Council (United Kingdom) David Burrowes is Chairman of the Equity Release Council and has been a practicing solicitor for 25 years. During this time, he was first a Councillor in Enfield and then Member of Parliament for Enfield Southgate between 2005 and 2017. David championed social justice and consumer protection and led campaigns on issues affecting elderly people. David served as Parliamentary Private Secretary to three Cabinet Ministers and sat on the influential Home Affairs and Public Accounts Select Committees and was also Shadow Justice Minister from 2007 - 2010.
