He brings nearly a decade of experience in the reverse mortgage industry having held various roles across sales and management with AAG and Liberty Reverse Mortgage. Prior to his career in reverse mortgages, Bruce held a private healthcare practice as a Chiropractor for 15 years. Outside of the office, Bruce leads an exciting, active lifestyle – catching (and releasing) rattlesnakes, snow skiing, and playing and coaching soccer. He looks forward to his annual trip up the San Gabriel Mountains where he bungee jumps off the legendary Bridge to Nowhere. Hank Rhoads, Reverse Mortgage Funding LLC Hank is a company top producer for the last five years, including a team of nine covering most of Northern CA with a storefront location in Sun City Lincoln Hills. Providing 24/7 access, Hank’s team has a long term, deep relationship in the 55+ communities in and near their office with 35 percent of their business from past customer referrals. Soroush Shahin, Weiner Brodsky Kider PC Soroush’s practice focuses on federal and state regulatory compliance matters related to the financial services industry. He advises mortgage companies, financial institutions, and secondary market investors on federal and state law in the areas of mortgage banking, real estate finance and consumer finance, including requirements under FHA regulations, TILA, RESPA, ECOA, FCRA, FDCPA, TCPA, GLBA, ILSA, and the E - Sign Act. In addition, Soroush regularly counsels clients on origination and servicing requirements, marketing practices, compliance management systems, compensation issues, and regulatory approvals. Prior to joining the firm, he was Corporate Counsel and Vice President of Operations for an automotive lender. Mary Smith, PHH Mortgage Corp. dba Liberty Reverse Mortgage Mary Smith has been the Director of Marketing since 2010 and is responsible for marketing, communications, and training functions at Liberty. She is also the leader for Retail Sales. Mary has over 22 years of experience in the financial services industry including 18 years with Ford Credit where she was the Director of Marketing and Sales for their Latin American Operations. She also held leader- ship roles in Ford Credit’s marketing, product development, and leasing opera- tions. Mary received an MBA from the University of Notre Dame and a BS in Mathematics and Economics from Loyola University of Chicago.
