Currently, she is principal at BRStucki Consulting. Prior to her consulting activities, Dr. Stucki was CEO of NestCare FPC, a startup company that developed an innovative home equity release product for seniors to age in place. She also served as Vice President for Home Equity Initiatives for the National Council on Aging, where she oversaw NCOA’s national reverse mortgage counseling network and conducted research on the role of home equity as a retirement resource. Prior to NCOA, Barbara was a senior policy analyst for the American Council of Life Insurers, working on issues relating to long - term care insurance. She also spent six years at the Public Policy Institute at AARP working on long - term care financing and insurance. Joshua Van Horn, Mortgage Information Services, Inc. Joshua Van Horn is Senior Vice President, Chief Appraiser at Mortgage Information Services, Inc. (MIS), a leading national provider of valuation, title, and settlement services. In this role, he is responsible for all facets related to the operation of a national real estate appraisal production division including, but not limited to: being a liaison with MIS’ diverse base of clients on technical and production issues; direct appraisal responsibility for the entire appraisal division; training and over - seeing production coordinators and staff appraisers; development and implementation of appraisal policies; assist in technology innovations; manage over 8,000 subcontractor appraisers throughout the country. Mr. Van Horn is an Ohio Certified Residential Appraiser who began his appraisal career in 2005, has been with MIS since 2009 serving in multiple leadership positions, and has held the title of SVP, Chief Appraiser since 2019. In addition to his appraisal and management experience, on a personal note, Joshua is an Eagle Scout and is married with 2 daughters. Patty Wills, CRMP, Open Mortgage, LLC Patty Wills is the National Retail Sales Manager, Reverse Mortgages for Open Mortgage. She has been with Open for five years. She is a Certified Reverse Mortgage Professional, previously served on the NRMLA Board of Directors for five years, and is currently active in NRMLA Committees, including the Education Committee and Co - Chair of the DEI Committee. Patty has been a leader in reverse mortgages for over 20 years and has a strong commitment to our reverse mortgage customers and the industry. Jay Wright, Bradley Jay Wright advises some of the nation’s largest financial institutions and mortgage companies as they adapt to changes in the regulatory and judicial environments in which they operate. Wright’s regulatory practice involves assisting clients in the financial services and mortgage industries comply with obligations imposed on them by the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Department of Justice, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and a host of state banking regulators and court systems. A significant portion of his practice is devoted to helping lenders and servicers of HECM reverse mortgages implement regulatory changes mandated by HUD, as well as interfacing directly with HUD to seek clarification about, or revision to, proposed regulatory changes.
