NRMLA’s 8 Hour SAFE course is the only one of its kind devoted almost exclusively to reverse mortgages. This year, 5 out of the 8 credits will be focused specifically on reverse mortgage topics.
NRMLA has once again partnered with web-based education provider Loan Officer School to offer members convenient access to NMLS credits. Benefits include:
- Watching and listening – No reading.
- Not a second of time more than what’s expected.
- No test or quiz of any kind.
***Please note NMLS is requiring webcams for all webinar courses in 2023. You must be on a webcam to receive course credit.
NRMLA’s 8 Hour SAFE class will be taught via Zoom and broken into two four-hour classes taught live on Wednesdays and Fridays from 12 pm to 4 pm Eastern Time (9 am to 1 pm Pacific Time).
Choose from the following course date options:
Course Dates and Times:
August 16 & 18, 12 pm to 4 pm Eastern Time
September 20 & 22, 12 pm to 4 pm Eastern Time
October 11 & 13, 12 pm to 4 pm Eastern Time
November 15 & 17, 12 pm to 4 pm Eastern Time
December 6 & 8, 12 pm to 4 pm Eastern Time
In addition to earning your federal NMLS credits for 2023, individuals who have the Certified Reverse Mortgage Professional (CRMP) designation, or may be pursuing the CRMP, should take the course because you can earn eight (8) credits and complete the mandatory ethics workshop. (Note: This 8 Hour SAFE class is approved for federal NMLS credits only. If the state(s) you are licensed in requires additional CE credits, you must get those credits separately. Loan Officer School offers state-level credits, so you can search for them on LOS’ web site.)
To register, please click here. Please note: Prior to logging into your course, you must submit the Rules of Conduct Form and a copy of your photo ID to Loan Officer School. NMLS has instituted this new requirement to ensure that individuals taking the class are who they say they are.
