Earn Your NMLS Credits From New NRMLA Course

NRMLA has once again partnered with web-based education provider Loan Officer School to offer members convenient access to NMLS and CRMP course curriculum developed by subject matter experts and approved to meet loan originator licensing requirements.

The course is broken down into 10 segments that focus on the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA); Truth in Lending Act; HECM regulatory changes from 2013 to 2017; HECM servicing; originating reverse mortgages for retirement; 13 key concepts every HECM prospect should understand; NRMLA’s Code of Ethics; and much more.

Titled 8 Hour SAFE CE Comprehensive–Exploring the New Reverse Mortgage Landscape, the web-based course will be broken into two four-hour classes taught live on Thursdays and Fridays from 9 am to 1 pm Pacific Time (or 12 pm to 4 pm Eastern Time). Choose from the following options:

  • October 11 & 12, 9 am to 1 pm Pacific Time (or 12 pm to 4 pm Eastern Time)
  • October 11 & 18, 9 am to 1 pm Pacific Time (or 12 pm to 4 pm Eastern Time)
  • October 12 & 19, 9 am to 1 pm Pacific Time (or 12 pm to 4 pm Eastern Time)
  • October 18 & 19, 9 am to 1 pm Pacific Time (or 12 pm to 4 pm Eastern Time)
  • October 25-26, 9 am to 1 pm Pacific Time (or 12 pm to 4 pm Eastern Time)

In addition to earning your federal NMLS credits for 2018, individuals who have the Certified Reverse Mortgage Professional (CRMP) designation, or may be pursuing the CRMP, should take the course because you can earn eight (8) credits and complete the mandatory ethics workshop.
