The Senate has just confirmed Joe Gormley (pictured left) as President of Ginnie Mae and Frank Cassidy as Assistant Secretary for Housing/Federal Housing Commissioner.

“We applaud the Senate for confirming Mr. Gormley and Mr. Cassidy to their leadership roles at HUD,” said NRMLA President Steve Irwin. “Both bring a clear commitment to the strength and future of the HECM and HMBS programs, and we look forward to working with them to advance lasting solutions that protect borrowers, support investors, and ensure the long-term health of these vital programs.”
