This week, the Federal Housing Administration announced in FHA Info 2025-19 the availability of the Catalyst Partner Environment, a new Application Programming Interface (API) testing platform designed to streamline digital interactions and improve the efficiency of FHA’s loan origination processes.
Starting April 14, loan origination system (LOS) providers and Mortgagees that develop their own LOS platforms can begin testing the Catalyst Case Binder Business-to-Government (B2G) API.
What’s next: Mortgagees with their own LOS platforms as well as LOS providers interested in accessing the Partner Environment should:

Submit a request: Send an email to Answers@hud.gov with the subject line: Request for Partner Environment Access – FHA Catalyst B2G API.

LOS/SaaS provider only (Y/N)

Mortgagee with own LOS (Y/N)

Include the following information:

Company Name
-
Contact Name and Role

Email Address and Phone Number

Mortgagees with their own LOS must provide their 5-digit FHA Lender ID.

Await confirmation: FHA will review requests and provide access instructions along with a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and Interconnection Security Agreement (ISA) for signature. Once the documentation is completed, FHA will initiate the integration process.
